Plant cell volume — dominant structure

Explanation

Much of the total volume of most mature plant cells is taken up by a single large central vacuole. It can occupy up to 90% of the cell's volume, pushing the cytoplasm, nucleus, and other organelles to the periphery. It stores water, nutrients, and waste products, and its turgor pressure helps support the plant's structure.
