Evaluate the expression for a = 5, x = -2, and y = 4

9a - a² = 9((1)) -(5)²

             = 9(5) - (2)

             = (3) - 25

             = 20

Evaluate each expression for a = 5, x = -2, y = 4

-x + 6y = -((1)) + 6((2))

             = (3) + 24

             = (4)
